'The Economy and The Graduate' airing on the Big Ten Network

Penn State students and a panel of three global business and industry executives representing three global economic sectors held a summit recorded live to discuss business trends affecting today's college graduates. The special television show, hosted by Penn State's Smeal College of Business and titled "The Economy and the Graduate," is scheduled to air at 7 pm (Eastern time) Tuesday, May 5, and again at 5 pm Thursday, May 7, and 8 am Friday, May 8, on the Big Ten Network. Jim Clifton, chairman and CEO of Gallup Inc., Karen Peetz, senior executive vice president for the Bank of New York Mellon, and John Surma, chairman and CEO of US Steel -- all Penn State alumni -- examined issues such as job prospects for recent college graduates and assessed options and alternatives available.
