Electronic Recycling Day, hosted by Keystone State Auctioneers and Lion Surplus, will be held from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 29 at the Lion Surplus Building on Services Road on the University Park campus. The annual event provides a free, easy way for members of the Penn State community to recycle their old electronic equipment. Items only will be accepted from Penn State employees and students.
Technology moves pretty fast. On April 30, there will be a convenient on-campus location to drop off old electronic equipment to make room for the new toys. Electronic Recycling Day will be held from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 30 at the Lion Surplus Building on Penn State's University Park campus.
Do you have an old or broken computer or game system that you would like to get rid of? Penn State Shenango is now accepting unwanted computer and game systems in conjunction with its IST 225 Hardware Computer course. The seven and a half week course will begin this fall. Part of the class' assignment will be to identify and research an organization or agency in the community that will be able to make use of the computers.
