Kinesiology professor receives honorable mention for recent book

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Jaime Schultz, assistant professor of kinesiology at Penn State, received an honorable mention PROSE Award from the Professional and Scholarly Publishing Division of the Association of American Publishers in the category of U.S. history for her recent book, "Qualifying Times: Points of Change in U.S. Women's Sport."

Schultz’s research interests include issues relating to race, gender, and sexuality and in the history of sport and physical culture.

“I am deeply honored and grateful for the recognition,” Schultz said.
