Penn State Shenango Community Garden project open to adults in the community

Penn State Shenango's Community Garden welcomes adult volunteers interested in helping to plant the garden at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 2. Volunteers should meet at the campus garden, which is located across from the athletic fields on Vine Street in downtown Sharon, Pa.

Please bring trowels and work gloves. Volunteers are also needed to help throughout the growing season. Last year, the garden produced more than 600 pounds of produce, much of which was donated to the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County.
