Lambda Pi Eta to induct new members

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Lambda Pi Eta, the Communications Honor Society at Penn State Altoona, will induct six new members on May 1. The inductees are students Kayla Dusing, Jessica Henri, Anna Kepner, Melanie Swartz, Danielle Negri and Jay Wareham.

Samuel Hayes, Jr., former Penn State Trustee, Pennsylvania House Majority Leader and Secretary of Agriculture, will serve as the keynote speaker. Chapter President Drew Hawley and Vice President Chelsea Blake will lead the induction ceremony.

Lambda Pi Eta recognizes outstanding academic achievement and is a unit of the National Communication Association, a member of the American Council of Learned Societies, the Council of Communication Associations and the National Humanities Alliance.
