Sporting Clays event raises $68,000 for CMN

The 18th annual Sporting Clays Charity Event raised more than $68,000 for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. The event, which was held on April 5 at the Hummelstown Field and Stream Club, is organized each year by Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center’s facilities office and friends of the Medical Center.

In all, 179 shooters participated in this year’s Sporting Clay’s event, with a total of 73 organizations making donations. Attendees heard from the parents of a 7-year-old CMN Miracle Child, who thanked them for their support of CMN.

Over the past 18 years, the Sporting Clays event has raised more than $820,000 for Children’s Miracle Network, making it the most successful Medical Center employee fundraiser for CMN.
