Bounce Marathon brings in big bucks for Easter Seals

ALTOONA, Pa. -- The 44th annual Penn State Altoona Greek-sponsored philanthropic event, Bounce Marathon, took place April 4-6 at various locations around Altoona, Pa. About 120 Greek Life students volunteered in six-hour shifts over the weekend to bounce basketballs to raise money for Easter Seals of Central Pennsylvania. Students raised more than $5,000 during the event.

In addition, a Sweet Frog give-back night will be held Thursday, April 10, and a 5K Fun Run will be held Sunday, April 13, to raise additional funds for the organization. Visit altoona.psu.edu for more information on the Fun Run.

Established in 1970 by Pi Lambda Phi fraternity, Bounce Marathon has grown over the years and now includes all four Greek organizations at Penn State Altoona.
