Clown Nose Club to host You Matter Day in Heritage Hall

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Clown Nose Club will present You Matter Day from noon to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, in Heritage Hall of the HUB-Robeson Center.

The event will offer interactive activities, including a game show, arts and crafts, a compliment booth and a photo booth.

“It’s going to de-stress students before they are bombarded with exams. It’s also going to give them a new perspective on ways they will interact with other students,” said Jaylin Freeman-Broadus, key planner in the day.

Broadus says it will give students an opportunity to appreciate themselves more as well.

The Penn State Clown Nose Club is all about taking positive social risks like random acts of kindness and unconventional community service projects. In other words, going out of one’s comfort zone to make a positive difference in someone else’s day.

You Matter Day is part of the club’s You Matter Month set to fill April with appreciation projects done by club members.
