Guest Artist Recital Series hosts performances by professional musicians

Penn State's School of Music brings professional musicians to Penn State for free recitals and master classes. The Guest Recital Series offers opportunities for Penn State students, faculty, staff, as well as community members to interact with these talented artists, whether listening to a performance or participating in a question-and-answer session.

Upcoming recitals and masterclasses are:

Alan Siebert, professor of trumpet at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), will present a short recital followed by a masterclass, 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, in Esber Recital Hall.

Alan Harris, Distinguished Professor of Cello at the Eastman School of Music, will present two masterclasses, 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 21, in 122 Music Building II, and 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 21, in Esber Recital Hall.

Hilary Glen, doctoral candidate in musical arts at the Eastman School of Music and a student of Professor Harris, will present a lecture/recital, Friday, March 21, 3:30 p.m., Esber Recital Hall
