Registration now open for Web 2014 Conference

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Registration for the Web 2014 Conference at Penn State is now open at http://webconference.psu.edu/. This year's conference, "The Future Friendly Web," is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, June 9, and Tuesday, June 10, at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel. A full day of workshops will follow and conclude the conference on Wednesday, June 11.

This year's conference will showcase keynote speakers Jeremy Keith, Tiffany Shlain, Wil Wheaton and Josh Clark; a diverse program of sessions, events and excursions; and workshops presented by Ethan Marcotte and Luke Wroblewski. Please note that workshop participants may choose to add the half-day workshops to their conference schedule for an additional fee and will also be permitted to register for the half-day workshops regardless of whether they participate in the rest of the conference.

Those who register during the Early Bird registration period will receive $150 off the regular conference fee. Early Bird registration at $500 ends Friday, Feb. 28; regular registration at $650 closes Friday, April 25. Those who register for both workshops will enjoy the discounted price of $500; otherwise workshops cost $300 each.

This annual conference brings Web professionals together to share information and learn about innovative uses of the Web, applications for Web development, works in progress, security issues, social networking and more.
