Schreyer Institute workshops will explore student assessment

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will present GA 103:  Learning Focused Assessment & Evaluation from 1:45 to 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, in 201 Chambers Building and from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7in 315 Rider Building.

This interactive workshop will focus on time-effective student assessment. Time will be spent on learning how to develop pre-assessments, design rubrics, collect and use mid-semester feedback, use engaging classroom assessment techniques, and write effective exam questions. This workshop is part of a three-seminar series focusing on best practices for integrated teaching and learning.

All graduate students are welcome and encouraged to attend!
