Women's hockey announces time changes for three home games

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State women's hockey has three time changes for home games in February following the release of the Big Ten men's hockey schedule. Both contests against Lindenwood and one against Mercyhurst have been altered.

The Lindenwood series scheduled for Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 8-9 at Pegula Ice Arena will now both take place at Noon. On Saturday, the men's team will play Michigan at 5 p.m. later that evening. The Sunday Lindenwood game has also been moved up to noon to accommodate LU's travel schedule.

On Saturday, Feb. 15, the Penn State-Mercyhurst women's game will take place at 8 p.m. following the conclusion of the Penn State-Michigan State men's game at 3:30 p.m. The next day's Penn State-Mercyhurst contest will remain at 1 p.m.

One away series (Ohio State) was altered as well with the Saturday, Jan. 4 game taking place at 4:07 p.m.

Penn State women's hockey is just nine days away from its season opening game at Vermont on Oct. 4 (7 p.m.). The Nittany Lions' Pegula Ice Arena opener is set for Oct. 18 against Union at 7 p.m., which will be the first of eight straight home games at the new $90 million state-of-the-art facility.
