Blue & White Society to welcome students Sept. 5 at annual Bash event

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Blue & White Society will welcome new and returning students with its annual fall semester kickoff event, Blue & White Bash, from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Hintz Family Alumni Center.

All University Park students are encouraged to join the fun-filled evening of free food and entertainment before the stresses of fall semester arrive. The Nittany Lion will be attending, as well as the head coach of the men’s basketball team, Pat Chambers.

Blue & White Society members can pick up their limited-edition T-shirt at the Bash. This event is perfect for those interested in becoming more involved on campus and learning more about the Blue & White Society.

The Blue & White Society is the student chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, and one of the largest and most active organizations at Penn State. The club organizes many events on campus each year, including Rally in the Valley, a football pep rally during Homecoming Weekend. Blue & White Society members also participate in campus events such as THON, Homecoming, Relay for Life and various community service programs.
