Jennifer Toof has been selected as the new residence life/student activities coordinator at Penn State Beaver, effective July 9.
Her primary responsibilities include planning and implementing events and activities, working with Resident Assistants, ensuring enforcement of policies and developing student organizations. Her duties will cover residence life and student activities focused on social, recreational, cultural, wellness and educational programs on campus.
Toof will also oversee the website for the Office of Residence Life and Student Activities, using technology to inform and engage students in the campus community by integrating programming and community development in students’ daily lives.
Toof came to Beaver campus from the New England College Residence Life and Housing Office in Henniker, NH, where she spent four years as an area coordinator and oversaw conferences and professional development opportunities. Prior positions included working as the assistant program manager and sports supervisor for The Works Family Health and Fitness Center in Somersworth, NH.
She has owned Jen Toof Photography for 11 years and her work has appeared in a variety of professional sports, recreation, and college brochures and books in New England.
A native of Berwick, Maine, Toof holds a master’s degree in marketing management and a bachelor’s degree in sports and recreation management with a minor in coaching from New England College.
