Seminar discusses fraud and scams and how to avoid identity theft

"Fraud, Scams and ID Theft," a seminar by Amy Shuey, will be presented from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, in Foster Auditorium, 102 Paterno Library on the University Park campus of Penn State. The free seminar intended for Penn State students, faculty and staff will cover identity theft prevention tips and the newest fraud schemes and will discuss how to avoid being scammed.

Shuey has been the marketing and education coordinator at the Penn State Federal Credit Union since 2004. Along with her marketing duties, she teaches financial literacy to the Penn State community and to youth and adults in the Centre Region.
