Cutsforth-Huber chosen as semifinalist for American Prize in Voice

Bonnie Cutsforth-Huber, assistant professor of music at Penn State Altoona, has been chosen as a semifinalist for the Professional Art Song Division of the American Prize in Voice. Cutsforth-Huber was chosen based on her submission — a recording of her May 2012 recital at Penn State Altoona.

The American Prize is a series of new, nonprofit national competitions in the performing arts providing cash awards, professional adjudication, and regional, national and international recognition for the best recorded performances by ensembles and individuals each year in the United States.

Finalists and winners will be chosen by the end of April.
