President of the APAK Group to present at next Entrepreneurs' Roundtable

Students, faculty, staff and post-docs are invited to engage with entrepreneurs on a personal level at the next Entrepreneurs’ Roundtable event from noon to 1 p.m. April 8, in room T3007 at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. The program is an informal, bi-monthly series connecting students and post-docs with a local entrepreneur to learn about the realities of starting a business. Robert Adams, president of the APAK Group, will serve as the next featured entrepreneur.

Adams received his bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State. Prior to starting the APAK Group with three other partners, Adams served as a controls department manager at GES Technology Inc. based in Harrisburg.

The APAK Group works to develop innovative and effective solutions in the areas of process control, data collection and visualization and production efficiency for a variety of industries and applications. The team writes software and IT solutions for facility management, record keeping, manufacturing efficiency and system monitoring. The applications include automated and control systems such as system installation, validation and support as well as process efficiency systems ranging from intranet and reporting applications to document management.
