Lecture on how time affects supply chains and consumers

Recent research indicates that supply chains have revolutionized the way in which perishable and nonperishable products are sourced, produced, distributed and consumed globally. In an effort to examine the behavior of the various supply chain stakeholders and its processing effects on products, Penn State Great Valley presents “Networks against Time: From Food to Pharma,” 5 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, Main Building, Room 131, 30 E. Swedesford Rd., Malvern.

Presenter Anna Nagurney, professor, University of Massachusetts Amherst, will examine the behavior of the various stakeholders, along with the cost and profit objectives. This free event is open to the community. For more information or to register, visit http://www.sgps.psu.edu/networks/default.ashx.
