Students, faculty encouraged to present at Research Symposium

Faculty and students from all Penn State campuses are invited to participate in the sixth annual Faculty and Student Research Symposium at Penn State DuBois. Faculty members, as well as students from all academic disciplines, both graduate and undergraduate, are welcome. Proposals by those who wish to present are due by March 29. They may be submitted at http://www.personal.psu.edu/djg25/Symposium/2013/index.html.

Throughout the daylong event April 20, presentations will be made by students and faculty members from Penn State DuBois, and other campuses within the Penn State system. They will highlight the research taking place across the University in various disciplines, including engineering, business, mathematics, communications and sciences. The sessions will detail many groundbreaking projects spearheaded by members of the University community.

The public is also invited to attend the Faculty and Student Research Symposium, which runs from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. April 20, in the DEF Building on campus. There is no charge for admission.
