HUB-Robeson Galleries announce upcoming exhibits for spring semester

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The HUB-Robeson Galleries will host multiple exhibits for the spring semester in the center’s display spaces:

HUB Gallery
Through March 12, Yongtaek Lee
Paintings from the Korean artist will be exhibiting in the United States for the first time. A reception is planned for 4 to 6 p.m. Feb 21.
 
March 22 to Apr 21, School of Visual Arts Graduate Research Exhibition
A reception is planned for 5 to 8 p.m. April 4.
 
Robeson Gallery
Feb 14 - Apr 21, Art Alliance Juried Exhibition “Celebrating 45 Years”
This exhibit showcases the work of the area’s many talented artists.
 
Art Alley
Through Feb 24, "The Life and Work of César Chávez"
Featuring 38 photographs paired with personal recollections, “In His Own Words” examines the ethics and experiences that drove Chávez to work tirelessly to improve the lives of American farm workers, recognizing this important 20th century leader as a civil rights hero, an influential labor leader and a champion of change. A talk is planned for 4 to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 14 with a reception following in the Hetzel Lounge.
 
March 28 to April 28, Center for Arts and Crafts Artists and Instructors
This exhibit showcases the artwork of the Penn State Center for Arts and Crafts artists and instructors.
