Tickets go on sale Friday for Lewis Black performance

University Park, Pa. -- Comedian Lewis Black will present his humorous insights at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Black has appeared regularly on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” taped four specials for the “Comedy Central Presents” series, co-created “Last Laugh with Lewis Black” and presides over “Lewis Black’s the Root of All Evil” now in its second season. He has had two specials on HBO, a regular feature for two seasons on “Inside the NFL” and has participated in “Comic Relief.”

Black also has written two bestselling books, “Nothing's Sacred” and “Me of Little Faith.” As a playwright, Black has penned more than 40 plays, many of which have been produced around the country.

Tickets cost $39.75 for the general public. A discount allows the 3,000 students at University Park to purchase their tickets for $15.
