Student to talk about Muslim experience at Penn State

University Park, Pa. -- "Let's Talk about Islam and the Invisible Muslims at Penn State," a presentation, will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Foster Auditorium, 101, Pattee Library.

Penn State graduate student Muhammad Atiyat of the Islamic Society of Central Pennsylvania will give an overview of the religion and an analysis of some of its customs, address delicate topics and take questions from the audience.

The presentation will also be aired on MediaSite Live and viewers will have the opportunity to submit questions via e-mail during the talk. To access the presentation, go to http://live.libraries.psu.edu/. No log-in is required.

This presentation is the first event lined up for the "Speaker Series on Religion and Culture" organized by the University Libraries Diversity Committee.
