Filmmaker to lead discussion on AIDS awareness

In observance of AIDS Awareness Month, Penn State Harrisburg is hosting a public presentation by filmmaker Brad Lowery and a showing of his acclaimed "No One Will Ever Know" on Dec. 3.

The 12:30 p.m. film presentation and discussion are free and open to the public in the Gallery Lounge of Olmsted Building. For information, call 717-948-6273.

Lowery wrote and directed "No One Will Ever Know" as an AIDS awareness film. It focuses on two young women on vacation. One makes a decision that will change her life and the lives of her family forever. Following the film presentation, Lowery will lead a discussion about AIDS, alcohol and decision making.

Lowery’s first film, "Suspect," won top honors in the Reel Connections Film Festival in Decatur, Ill. His second film, "No One Will Ever Know," was created for BET’s “Wrap It Up Contest” and premiered as part of the LaCinemaFe Film Festival in New York City.
