Parking lot closed for construction of Biobehavioral Health Building

As a part of the construction of the Biobehavioral Health Building East on Penn State's University Park campus, lot Brown G, adjacent to the Henderson Building, has been closed permanently as of Nov. 1. In addition, the service road that leads to the Henderson Building from Pollock Road is closed just north of the parking lot entrance.

A new construction access road is being built from College Avenue to the construction site, just west of the College Avenue entrance to Atherton Hall (lot Yellow J). Once the access road is complete, it will become a one-way entry to lot Yellow N (which is located directly south of the Health and Human Development Building). The current entrance to lot Yellow N will become a one-way exit.

Lot Yellow N will be reserved 24 hours a day, seven days a week for authorized construction traffic and ADA placarded vehicles with the Yellow N permit properly displayed. The lot also will serve as the pickup and drop off access point for the Child Development Laboratory again for authorized vehicles only with the appropriate placard displayed. There will be flagmen on site during working hours to maintain traffic flow on the construction access road and to restrict access to authorized vehicles only.
