Lehigh Valley student chosen to showcase research at state capitol

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Logan Bonner, a Penn State Lehigh Valley sophomore, has been chosen to present his research at Pennsylvania's Undergraduate Research at the Capitol (URC-PA) event to be held March 27 in Harrisburg. Bonner's poster, "Stimulation of Red Blood Cell Differentiation In Vitro: Replication of a Classic Experiment Enhances Inquiry in the Undergraduate Laboratory," is one of only four selected to represent Penn State at the event.

The URC-PA poster Conference is an educational event allowing the undergraduate students enrolled in Pennsylvania’s colleges and universities to showcase their research talents to the Commonwealth’s key decision-makers. As a participant, Bonner will spend the day in the Pennsylvania Capitol Building, share experiences and ideas with his counterparts from other schools, and enlighten state legislators on the topics that are important to our society.
