Dancers are Julia Qualiotto, a junior business management major, and Andrew Pricener, a sophomore business management major.
The campus is also holding a late-night THON bowling event. The community is invited to attend the event, which will be held at North Versailles Bowl from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Feb. 9. Cost is $20 per person.
THON began in 1973, when dancers raised just more than $2,000. Today, it is the largest student-run philanthropy effort in the nation. The event has raised more than $89 million for The Four Diamonds Fund, which supports childhood cancer research.
To donate to THON on behalf of the Greater Allegheny campus, contact Joseph Edmiston, director of development, at 412-675-9048. For more about the history of THON, visit http://www.thon.org.
