Community invited to campus book sale, raffle to benefit United Way

Penn State Shenango will hold a community book sale and basket raffle from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 18, in the McDowell Hall Community Room located on Shenango Avenue in downtown Sharon, Pa., to benefit the Mercer County United Way.

Hundreds of gently used books, as well as some CDs, DVDs, games and puzzles, will be available in prices from 50 cents to $2.

Tickets for the basket raffle will be one for $1, six for $5, 20 for $10 and 50 for $20. Baskets will be available to view and raffle tickets will be available to purchase from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 18, in McDowell Hall Community Room as well as from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 11, 13 and 15, in the Great Hall of Sharon Hall. The basket raffle tickets will be drawn Feb. 22.
