Snowshoe hares -- 004

It's easy to see why snowshoe hares that turn white in Pennsylvania winters with scant snow stand out and are easy targets for predators. Previous research done in the College of Agricultural sciences showed that the range of hares in the state is shrinking to the snowiest and coldest regions, the Poconos and McKean/Forest counties.
