Model USS Pennsylvania

The United States Navy builder's model of the USS Pennsylvania is on display on the third floor of Wagner Building on Penn State's University Park campus. It depicts the ship as it appeared when it was commissioned by the United States Navy in 1916. The Pennsylvania was dry-docked at Pearl Harbor on the morning of the Dec. 7, 1941, and the crew suffered 29 casualties. The ship would undergo repairs and play a key role in the Pacific throughout World War II.
