Jennifer Lee sent a trio of photos that tell the story of a red-tailed hawk family. From January through August 2006 the staff at the Intramural Building on Penn State's University Park campus was treated to almost daily sightings of a red-tailed hawk pair hunting, nesting and then raising their two young. In June the two chicks fledged and Lee witnessed flight practice around the tennis courts and fields. This final photo in the series shows the two hawks as they played with twigs and hopped around together for about an hour near the Lady Lion softball field.
