  • percussionist Stephen Fleming
    Percussionist Stephen Fleming, graduate student in Penn State's School of Music, was one of the many musicians who performed at Mosaic, an annual concert at Eisenhower Auditorium that showcases the School of Music's most outstanding soloists, and ensembles.
  • ARPES-Materials Research Institute
    Tim Pillsbury, graduate research assistant at Penn State’s Materials Research Institute, positions a sample of topological insulate for measurement in an angle-resolved photo emission spectrometer (ARPES) at his Davey Laboratory facility. Pillsbury is measuring the band structure and electronic properties of the sample.
  • Blackfoot delegation carving
    This wood and mixed media carving by Marisol is entitled ‘Blackfoot Delegation to Washington, 1916’ and depicts the delegates of the Peigan tribe of Blackfoot Indians who lobbied Congress as it considered a bill authorizing the selling of Blackfoot land. The carving is on display at Penn State’s Palmer Museum of Art.
  • THON Hair Donation
    THON 2018 welcomed the Penn State community to celebrate 100 Days 'til THON on Nov. 8 in the HUB-Robeson Center. The event included a hair donation by Penn State students to 'Wigs for Kids' that will provide children with pediatric cancer wigs at no cost to their family. THON 2018 will happen Feb. 16 to 18 at the Bryce Jordan Center.
