Free late-night breakfast at York features an '80s theme

YORK, Pa. — Penn State York’s free late-night breakfast should be totally awesome as it kicks off finals week with an '80s theme from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, in the conference center of the Main Classroom Building. Late-night breakfast is free to members of the Penn State York community.

Penn State York faculty and staff will serve-up a variety of breakfast foods from bacon and eggs to pastry, muffins, coffee and more. The late-night breakfast has become a popular event on campus and provides a way for faculty and staff to connect with students and help them relieve stress as they prepare for finals.

Those who attend are encouraged to dress '80s style, so oversized sweatshirts and tops, long chain necklaces, sweat bands, fingerless gloves, leggings, bandanas, and parachute pants will be all the rage. Remember to wear those neon colors.

In addition to enjoying plenty of food, students can socialize and will hear from Adam Grabowski, who will provide the laughs throughout the night. A fundraising event for the Alternative Spring Break community service trip to the Bahamas will also provide those in attendance with the opportunity to put a cream pie in the face of some brave faculty and staff members.

Late-night breakfast is sponsored by the Penn State York University Programming Board through funds from the campus student activity fee (SAF) and the Penn State York Office of Student Affairs.
