BeLue to discuss global health equity in 'Huddle with the Faculty' presentation

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Before Penn State clashes with San Diego State on the gridiron, "Huddle with the Faculty" on Saturday, Sept. 26, and learn how your health is related to the health of individuals and communities across the world.

Rhonda BeLue, associate professor of health policy and administration, will lead a discussion that focuses on the World Health Organization's definition of health as "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."

The 24th annual Huddle with the Faculty series takes place every Saturday morning on home football weekends. Admission is free and open to the public, with free parking available in the Nittany Parking Deck. Complimentary breakfast refreshments will be served at 8:30 a.m., and the presentation will begin at 9 a.m. in The Nittany Lion Inn. 

Huddle with the Faculty is presented by the Penn State Alumni Association and sponsored by The Village at Penn State with support from The Nittany Lion Inn and Penn State Press.
