MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine’s Laboratory for Civic and Community Engagement is sponsoring Constitution Day at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 17 in the Vairo Courtyard.

The celebration will commemorate the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution, as well as recognize all who were born in the United States or have become American citizens by naturalization.

The event gives students and the campus community the chance to register to vote (on-site computers will be available) and enjoy food and music. The day will feature a bandana-making contest, a Bill of Rights open microphone dialogue, and trivia contests.

Penn State Brandywine’s Laboratory for Civic and Community Engagement promotes the integration of civic engagement into academic curricula and extracurricular activities.
