CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The men’s and women’s basketball teams of Penn State Lehigh Valley will play their first home games against Penn State Brandywine on Nov. 22 at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem. The women tip off at noon, while the men’s team plays at 2 p.m. The games are free and open to the public.

“We are excited about the direction our program is heading,” said Anthony Ross, head coach of the men’s team. “Entering our second straight year with a strong local recruiting class, we look to build on the progress that we’ve made as a program.”

Heading into their second season, the women’s team is also optimistic.

“I expect my team to compete and be relentless and outwork our opponent,” says women’s head coach Lorie Khalil. “I expect them to work as a unit and be a cohesive unit not just for the season opener, but all season long. The team has been working really hard at practice and really pushing themselves. We are going to give it our best fight for 40 minutes every game.”
