Arts Project workshop series accepting registrations for fall session

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Arts Project at Penn State Lehigh Valley has announced its fall 2014 session options for Sept. 15 to Dec. 11. Additionally, a special two-day workshop, Creating Ceramic Vessels and Raku Firing, will be offered. 

Creating Ceramic Vessels and Raku Firing will be held on two Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 3 and 10. During the first Friday workshop, students will work with master ceramic artist Renzo Faggioli to create ceramic vessels. On the second Friday, students will participate in the Raku firing process to create the unique finish that only this process can produce. The cost of this special session is $175.

Other workshops offered include Beginning and Advanced Jewelry and Metalwork with Ann Lalik; Drawing and Design Fundamentals and Exploring Printmaking with Ron De Long; and Wet Felting with Kim Tanzos. The cost for each 12-week workshop is $350.
