Preacher/writer Shane Claiborne to speak Nov. 11

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Preacher and writer Shane Claiborne will be speaking at Penn State at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, in Freeman Auditorium (formerly known as the HUB Auditorium). The theme for his talk is "Tearing Down Walls." Shane is a founding partner of the new monasticism The Simple Way.  He has authored many books including "The Irresistible Revolution" and "Jesus for President." He has worked alongside Mother Teresa, spent time working with Baghdad Peacekeepers and speaks around the world. The event is free and open to the public.
