UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- With the football team off this past weekend, Penn State News salutes some of the most dedicated Nittany Lion fans with a special photo gallery. It’s a celebration of the enthusiastic, proud and always innovative force that has become a corner stone of Penn State pride and game days at Beaver Stadium.

Rain or shine, the student section is always an electrifying site. This rainy 'Blue Out' at Beaver Stadium on Sept. 21 vs Kent State was no exception. The 'Blue Out' was hosted by Penn State's One Heart Campaign, a student group centered around educating people on child sexual abuse prevention. The team’s next game is at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Ohio State. Tickets for students go on sale at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21.The Nittany Lions (4-2) will return to Beaver Stadium on Nov. 2 to play Illinois.
