Penn State students can purchase Ohio State football tickets Monday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State students have an opportunity to attend the Nittany Lions’ primetime clash at No. 4/3 Ohio State on Saturday, Oct. 26. Students who want to attend the 8 p.m. clash can purchase a ticket at Gate B (northeast corner) of the Bryce Jordan Center beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21.

A limited number of student tickets will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis for the contest at Ohio Stadium. Each student will be permitted to purchase a $79 ticket and must present a valid Penn State ID+ Card to secure a ticket. All sales of all tickets will be done on a cash only basis. Credit cards and checks will not be accepted.

Students wanting to purchase tickets so that they may sit together at the Ohio State game will need to make their ticket purchase together at Gate B of the BJC on Monday morning. Students may arrive at the Jordan Center at 6 a.m. Monday for the sale.

If student tickets remain after 8 a.m. Monday, the sale will move from Gate B to the Athletic Ticket Office inside the BJC. Student tickets will not be available after 4 p.m. Monday.

Penn State students will have an opportunity to purchase tickets for every away game the Monday prior to each contest this season, with the exception of the Wisconsin game, when tickets will go on sale Nov. 18. After the Ohio State game, the next student sale will be at 7 a.m. Nov. 4 for the Nov. 9 game at Minnesota.

Coach Bill O’Brien’s Nittany Lions (4-2) are idle this week after posting a 43-40, four overtime win over previously unbeaten Michigan last Saturday. The Buckeyes (6-0) host Iowa on Saturday.

Penn State and Ohio State will be meeting for the 29th time and have played every season since the Nittany Lions began Big Ten competition in 1993. The Nittany Lions and Buckeyes have been division rivals since 2011 and will be in the Big Ten’s Eastern Division starting next year and continue to play annually.

The Buckeyes hold a 15-13 edge in the series, winning 35-23 last year. Penn State has won two of the last three games in Columbus.

Tickets are available for the Nittany Lions’ final three home games against Illinois (Nov. 2, THON Day), Purdue (Nov. 16, Seats For Soldiers) and Nebraska (Nov. 23, Senior Day).
