36 Greater Allegheny student athletes make PSUAC All-Academic Team

Penn State Greater Allegheny had 36 students named to the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Academic Team. These student athletes had at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) in their season of competition or maintained a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Greater Allegheny Athletic Director Jim Chester credits the students as well as support systems throughout the campus with the success. “This is a tremendous honor for our student athletes for their achievements in the classroom. They are just as committed to their academics as they are to the field or court.”

The newly inducted student athletes are cross-country runners Jared Reesman, Maria Marroquin, Nathan Ferraro, Robert Meier and Ryan Bartok; women's volleyball players Alyssa Finocchi, Audra Besnak, Kayla Franklin, Lennika Farrish and Robia Colbert; wrestlers Myan Haviv and Tyler Spencer; men's basketball players David Menzies, Aaron Byrd, Jordan Zeer, Nick Dizon and Peter Olumese; softball players Amanda Wega, Ashley Lowenstein, Holly Madeja, Jessica Yanosky, Jordyn Holsing, Kim Hall and Samantha Clark; and baseball players Alente Johnson, Brian Colon, Eric Schell, Clay Groff, Jason Paris, Jon White, Kevin Silvio, Luke Koshinsky, Tom Williams, Victor Monroig, Bill Carter and Zach Krivda.
