NBA players highlight Penn State Altoona summer basketball camps

Boys in grades seven to 12 can improve their basketball skills and learn fundamentals from current NBA players this summer at Penn State Altoona as part of the College's summer basketball training camps. Led by camp host Armon Gilliam, Penn State Altoona's men's basketball coach and a 13-year NBA veteran, the camp will feature guest speakers Doug West of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Mike Iuzzolino of the Dallas Mavericks, Johnny Moore, a ten-year NBA veteran of the San Antonio Spurs, and Tyler Smith, former Penn State player from 1998 to 2002. Camp dates are June 23-27 and August 4-8. The week-long programs will include instruction in weight training, nutrition, strength programs and basketball skills and fundamentals.
