Tickets for Miss Saigon, 28 other performing arts events on sale

Individual performance tickets for the State College premiere of the musical Miss Saigon, plus 28 other events in the Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State 2003-2004 season go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at the three Arts Ticket Center locations or charge by phone. In addition to five performances of Miss Saigon—the epic love story by the creators of Les Miserables—the upcoming season includes two performances by Louisville Ballet in The Nutcracker, Broadway singing sensation Linda Eder, jazz singers Patti Austin and Cassandra Wilson, the legendary Drummers of West Africa, banjo virtuoso Bela Fleck with bassist Edgar Meyer, Seussical the Musical, London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with pianist Garrick Ohlsson, the prestigious Guthrie Theater in Othello, the Wynton Marsalis Septet, and internationally acclaimed soprano Dawn Upshaw. Tickets are available at the following Arts Ticket Center locations: Eisenhower Auditorium, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays; Penn State Tickets Downtown, in the lobby of the Penn State Downtown Theatre Center at 146 S.
