Penn State Live wants your photos

February 21, 2005

Tomorrow, Penn State will celebrate the 150th anniversary of its founding on Feb. 22, 1855. The University is planning a variety of official events, and several units are holding their own celebrations as well. Penn State Live would like to include photos of Sesquicentennial Celebration parties being held in offices and departments across the campus. Photos are needed no later than 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, for inclusion in a Still Life photo package on Live. Photos must be at least 150 dpi, maximum-quality .jpg files, and must include complete caption information to be considered for use. Because Penn State Live will be receiving a large volume of photos from units and departments across all 24 Penn State locations, it is important that units follow a consistent naming procedure for the photos. Photos need to be named DepartmentName_sesqui01.jpg, DepartmentName_sesqui02.jpg, etc. Each photo should be sent on a separate e-mail to Photos should not be posed. For more detailed photo guidelines, go to online. For more information about the University's Sesquicentennial Celebration, go to
