Cherokee musician to do two shows on campus

Cherokee musician Michael Jacobs will present two concerts on Sunday and Monday, March 27 and 28, on Penn State's University Park campus. Jacobs will perform in an intimate coffeehouse style from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at Koinonia Kaffe, 212 Pasquerilla Spiritual Center. He also will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 28, in Frizzell Room, Pasquerilla Spiritual Center. The performances are free to the public. A guitarist and singer, Jacobs also plays flute, harmonica and percussion. His debut solo CD, "Sacred Nation," received the 2003 Native American Music Award (Nammys) for Best Independent Recording.
