Equal Opportunity Planning Committee requests funding proposals

September 01, 2005

The Equal Opportunity Planning Committee (EOPC) invites Penn State faculty and staff to submit proposals for EOPC funding to support the University's diversity efforts. Funding can be obtained for programs that address one of the seven challenges identified in A Framework to Foster Diversity at Penn State 2004-2009. The framework challenges can be seen at http://www.equity.psu.edu/framework/

In order to assist faculty and staff in developing successful proposals, EOPC will conduct three proposal writing workshops this fall. Attending one of these workshops is strongly recommended for anyone who might submit a proposal and will enhance a proposal writer's ability to develop a strong proposal and receive funding.

Dates, locations and times of the workshops are below. Participants planning to attend the workshop are asked tocontact Mike Blanco by calling (814) 863-7890 or e-mailing mhb4@psu.edu. However, no registration is required.

-- DuBois: noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 202 DEF Technology Center;
