Medical Center, College of Medicine offer weight management programs

The next session of Penn State Heart and Vascular Institute's Weight Management Program begins Wednesday, Feb. 7. The 12-week, evening program is targeted to those needing to lose less than 50 pounds. Behavioral modification, nutrition and exercise experts help participants identify factors of weight gain and develop strategies to lose weight. For more information about participation costs or to register, call the CareLine at (800) 243-1455. The program is open to the public and all employees of Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine. Space is limited. A Weight Watchers at Work open house will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 3, in the hospital anteroom for Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine employees. The 17-week session begins Wednesday, Jan. 10.
