April 15, 2008

University Park, Pa. -- Final exams can be stressful, especially if you procrastinate or panic.

Mary Anne Knapp and Bindu Methikalam of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will facilitate Wednesday night (April 23) a program about coping with stress as part of the CAPS Personal Issues Series. The program will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. in 325 HUB-Robeson Center.

In this program, participants will discuss why exams are stressful, experience a relaxation/body awareness activity, identify lifestyle issues and learn self-talk and communication/support strategies to maximize self-care and success for exams.  Participants will be encouraged to develop their own stress management contract.
