Soil expert to present on thermal analysis

University Park, Pa. — Alain Plante, assistant professor of soil biogeochemistry in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science at the University of Pennsylvania will present a seminar on the topic of "Using Thermal Analysis Techniques to Assess Soil Organic Matter Quality," at 12:20 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6 in 101 Agricultural Sciences and Industry Building at Penn State's University Park campus.

The lecture is presented by Penn State's Department of Crop and Soil Sciences.
