New 'Expert Opinion' show on men's basketball issues debuts Dec. 7

December 05, 2009

The last "Expert Opinion" show to debut in 2009 holds court on the controversy hovering over men's college basketball. Does men's hoops have more behind-the-scenes troubles than any other college sport? Discussing the issue are Kevin Lennon, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) vice president for academic and membership affairs; Dennis Felton, former head basketball coach at the University of Georgia and Western Kentucky University; and Kevin Weiberg, CEO of iHoops, the official youth basketball initiative of the NCAA and NBA. Host Spanier chaired the NCAA Division I Board of Directors from 1997 to 2001.
