University Park, Pa. — Rape Aggression Defense (RAD): A Self Defense Class for Women Students will be offered by certified instructors from Penn State University Police from 6-9 p.m. on April 5, 7, 12 and 14 at 117 Weston Community Center at the White Course Apartment Complex on West Campus at University Park. The free self-defense course is open to all currently enrolled women students and participants must attend all four sessions.

The class is a basic introduction to self-defense techniques and provides awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance options. Participants also benefit from a free lifetime practice policy to return to any RAD class anywhere.

Women students may register for the course from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday in 204 Boucke. For additional information, call 814-863-2027 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
